Workout Of The Day

The 2019 CrossFit Games Open begins on February 21st 2019 and continues until March 25th. The five-week, five-workout competition is held in CrossFit affiliates around the world. Workouts are released online each Thursday, and athletes have until the following Monday to submit their scores. Anyone who’s at least 14 years old can sign up and join in the first stage of the CrossFit Games season.

To help us prepare for the 2019 Open Coach Mike G. will be programming and coaching workouts from previous seasons of the CrossFit Open to, both, train and get you acclimated to how the Open typically works.. Today’s workout is 17.2 (17.2 means it was the second workout in the 2017 Open.) 17.2 PDF

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 12 minutes of:
2 rounds of:
  50-ft. weighted walking lunge
  16 toes-to-bars
  8 power cleans
Then, 2 rounds of:
  50-ft. weighted walking lunge
  16 bar muscle-ups
  8 power cleans
Etc., alternating between toes-to-bars and bar muscle-ups every 2 rounds. Men-50 lbs. dumbbell Women-35 lbs. dumbbell
