Kaylin reached the top of the rope last night for the first time.  Congratulations Kaylin!  Climbing the rope is more than the actual physical technique.  It’s facing your fear and getting up there.  It’s leaving your comfort zone.  It’s battling the part of your mind that tries to talk you out of trying.  It’s battling the part of your mind that says, “you’ll get hurt, you’ll fall”, or worse, “you’ll fail”.  For many athletes, it’s that part of the brain that needs to be bypassed.  Congratulations Kaylin!  You did it!
