My hospital stay and surgery went well…..as far as hospital stays and surgery goes! Being in the hospital made me appreciate crossfitting even more. If you haven't been in one lately, newsflash, hospitals are full of sick and out of shape people. I recommend staying out of them when possible. I'm back in the fight now, but probably won't do much heavy lifting for a week or two.

I just finished Brotherhood of Warriors by Aaron Cohen. It was one of the best books I've read in a while. The author is from Beverly Hills, California, but became a member of the Israeli Special Forces in the mid-90s. Cohen's personal story, a glimpse into the Israeli Special Forces and Cohen's opinions regarding terrorism, security and training are fascinating.
