I declare Lauren this weeks queen of caption this!! Ahahaha!! WOD’ing on eggshells!!
Thank you, thank you! lol
This is getting more difficult to judge as time goes on. Thanks to all who submitted an entry…or two. They were all entertaining.
I’m going to second Katy’s vote and name this week’s big winner Lauren! Lauren expressed true artistic ability and used a contemporary theme in society not often discussed at parties or around the water cooler at work. Kudos to you Ms. Lauren!
We saw some real nice use of music videos in this week’s Caption This. A technique we saw sporadically in the past, the use of the music video seems to have a brand new popularity…and we welcome it. Al used one of my favorite Big & Rich songs, Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy). Who doesn’t think saving horses is a good idea? Janie’s masterful use of the Peanuts Theme–pure genius. What person over the age of 35 doesn’t love the Peanuts Theme. Joe M. spun Macarena, dropped the mike and walked away without saying a word–bold fresh move on Joe’s part. You have to respect that. And I don’t know what that song was that John H. lead the whole song-thing off with, but any song about smacking the posterior of a willing partner is alright in my book. After all if there was more “Smack That” going on and less fear, ignorance and hatred, I respectfully submit to you that the world would be a better place.
Honorable mention to AL for these immortal words: “Save a horse, ride a guido”. Classic!
Honorable mention #2 to Bevin. Although she is on a hiatus she still reads the blog and participates. Good on you Bevin!
Honorable Mention #3 to Janie for the use of a common CrossFit rep-scheme to drink shots of hard liquor.
Ok kids, thanks for visiting. This is your intrepid host signing off. See you soon.
