CROSSFIT SUFFOLK: Powered By SPARTAN PERFORMANCE

I told some of the feat of strength shown below, but I got the impression they thought I was joking.  I don’t joke.  Ever.

Jeff Martone does a Turkish Get-up with Melissa instead of a kettlebell, July 13th, 2013.

7 LIES ABOUT WOMEN’S FITNESS AND DIET

Workout of the Day
Floor Press
1X5@40% 1-rep max
1X5@50%
1X5@60%

NOTE: This is a “de-load” week.  You’ll notice the percentages are lighter.  This is done by design.  Do not alter the plan.  The only thing that can ruin the plan is your better plan.  Do not do more than 5 reps during your last set.  Continue to use 90% of your true 1-rep max as your 1-rep max to figure the percentages.  Next week we will be testing for our 1-rep max.

A) 7 rounds for time of:
7 hang power snatch 75/50#
10/5 push-ups
5 inverted rows

B) 500 Meter Row for time

Post your scores to the Whiteboard.

So we had Turkish Get-ups in the warm-up yesterday…that’s what prompted the conversation about doing the TGU with a person, hence today’s photo array.

    In case you were wondering…
