CROSSFIT SUFFOLK: Powered By SPARTAN PERFORMANCE

For those of you who take Sunday off from the website and Social Media, these two took second place on Saturday at the Arnold’s and Acrobats competition at Crossfit Cobalt in West Babylon!

Workout of the Day
Turkish Get-up: work up to a heavy single

Death by 10m Shuttle Sprint.

10m sprint the 1st minute.
10m sprint x 2 the 2nd minute.
10m sprint x 3 the 3rd minute.
Continue in this manner as long as possible until you fail to achieve the required shuttle sprint in the appropriate minute.

NOTE:  This will be done in the gym.  10 meters is approximately 32 feet.  32 feet is approximately 8 mats in length if you’re trying to visualize.  There will be an alternative workout for those who should not sprint.

Farmer Walk: Heavy as possible for 60, 45 and 30 seconds

Post your scores to the Whiteboard.

UPCOMING EVENTS AND THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

*We are in the process of planning the AFTER-THE-HOLIDAYS PARTY.  We are looking at Saturday evenings in the middle of January.  If you would like to attend but have a scheduling issue please inform us.  Our aim is to make the date workable for as many members as possible.  If we don’t hear from you we will assume any date is good.

*We are excited to announce that we are hosting the one-day CROSSFIT WORKSHOP: STRIKING on Sunday, February 11th, 2018.  This is an official CrossFit Headquarters workshop and the instructor will be the CrossFit Striking founder, George Ryan.  You can read a detailed description of the workshop HERE and you can check out what some of the course looks like HERE (video).
