Thanks for the comments about yesterday's post.  Most were made to me verbally and not in the comment section.  I wish they were in the comment section so everyone could have enjoyed them!  We received several requests to learn "kettlebell curls".  We respectfully declined!

I should take this opportunity to clear something up….the kettlebell curler was not a member of Spartan Performance and was not, to the best of our knowledge, a crossfitter.  The disgraceful act was performed in a local college gym.  So much for higher education!

A Fighting Chance  Check out the movie trailer about Kyle Maynard!

"Kyle Maynard was born March 24, 1986 with a condition known as congenital amputation that has left him with arms that end at the elbows and legs that end near his knees. His story begins as an 11-year-old that wanted to wrestle and a coach that gave him an opportunity to try. After losing every single match his first year and most his second, Kyle became a successful varsity wrestler on one of the best teams in the southeast. In spite of his limitations, he found a way to win 36 varsity matches his senior year, while defeating several state place finishers and state champions during his final season."

The documentary about Kyle will air on ESPN on November 8th.  Confirm with local listing.  Kyle is also part of the CrossFit community!  Thanks to Andrea for the tip!
