We have a dozen athletes competing at the 631 THROWDOWN today in Lake Grove.  The competition starts at 10am.  The location is:

SUNDAY’S SCHEDULE WILL INCLUDE AN EXTRA MORNING SESSION AT 9-10AM ALONG WITH THE USUAL 10-11AM and 11AM-12PM.

THERE WILL BE A SESSION FOR THOSE COMPETING IN THE CROSSFIT GAMES OPEN ON SUNDAY AT 12PMTHIS SESSION IS FOR THE OPEN COMPETITORS ONLY.

8-9AM and 9-10am

So you and the coaching staff can get to the 631 Throwdown

Today’s workout is inspired by the workouts that will be done by those competing at the 631 Throwdown today!  The below conditioning workout is supposed to include “burpee box jumps” but was modified due to the burpee WOD we just did.  If you did not do the burpee workout on Wednesday feel free to include the burpee in today’s workout.

10 minutes to establish a 1 rep max Clean & Jerk

Scaled:

8 minute AMRAP
10 box jumps (24”/20”)*

15 knees-to-waist

10 decline hand-release push ups

*Athlete may substitute box step-ups for box jumps

RX:

8 minute AMRAP

10 box jumps (24”/20”)*

15 toes-to-bar

10 handstand push ups
