"A: Another important point: THE PALEO APPROACH IS NOT A WEIGHT-LOSS
DIET. (This is another reason why I'm not a huge fan of calling this
nutritional approach the "Paleo Diet"; it's confusing to people.) Here,
the word "diet" is intended to mean "food choices" or "nutritional
approach" — not to mean "shed 30 pounds in 30 days!"


Besides, unlike some folks who flirt with a low-carb or Atkins diet,
it's not like I have a lot of weight to lose — and once I hit my target
weight, I'll go back to eating "normally." The idea is that this
lifestyle change is permanent — or at least until I'm persuaded that
another approach is superior. It's going to take a lot of convincing,
though."
