Our participation in the Spartan Beast Race has generated requests for further info and expressed interest in taking part next year.  The below video is of "home-video" quality, which is good considering it was shot by a participant, but it shows most of the obstacles on the course.  The video doesn't, however, do the mountain justice.  (The video is nearly 9 minutes in length.)

A NYC Triathlon Death  Actually, two triathletes died in the NYC Triathlon this past weekend.  Arthur Devany has consistently offered the best commentary on what may have caused the deaths.  Scientific American had a more in depth article, Why Is Swimming The Most Deadly Leg Of A Triathlon?
