Speaking of The CrossFit Games….good luck to the two Long Islanders who made it to the "Big Show": Dan Tyminski, owner and coach of CrossFit Lindy (West Babylon) and in the Masters Division-45-49, the 2011 Champ in this division, Scott DeTore, owner and coach of CrossFit Kryptonite (Center Moriches).

Congratulations to Long Islander, Chris Weidman, UFC middle weight on his victory last night.  Chris was born in Baldwin and is a Hofstra alumni.  Weidman's knockout victory over a very tough Mark Munoz was his fifth straight victory in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).  Chris has a very promising future in the UFC!
