102 days ago we started a 100 Day Burpee Challenge.  Of all who started only one was left standing on day 100: Melissa P.  Melissa is a teacher in Suffolk County and has been for 5 years.  During the 100 Day Burpee Challenge her already demanding schedule intensified as Melissa was required to work extra hours for a couple of weeks.  Melissa is also preparing for her wedding in September and house hunting as well.  In other words Melissa had every good excuse for not doing the Burpee Challenge. 

Melissa doesn't make excuses.  She makes things happen.

We have often made the observation that those who participate in the 100 Burpee Challenge, for even half of it,  make significant improvements in their overall workout performances.  Melissa improved on her lifts.  One might think that doing burpees everyday for over 3 months would have a negative impact on workout times, but it did not.  In fact Melissa's times during the workouts improved.

Congratulations Melissa!  The 100 Burpee Day Challenge requires a huge physical effort and extraordinary disciplne.  Melissa is the first person, that I know personally, who has completed the 100 Day Burpee Challenge.  Outstanding job Melissa!
