STRENGTH Is A Set Of Skills "In my mind, STRENGTH is an acronym for Structure, Tension, Relaxation, Efficiency, Nerve, Grace, Timing, and Humility. Each of these is a separate skill which requires individual attention to experience fully, but can be applied in conjunction with one another under any number of conditions to produce what we call 'strength.' How long is Brian C going to be home for? I have heard such nice things about him it would be great if he could come to the “night crew” one time!!! 🙂 If not …be safe Brian and I’ll meet you when you get back.

After going through my own bouts of nerves while attempting to lift a heavy weight and being afraid to fail, it is good to see that in many articles you and Lisa post that “nerve” can be considered a part of strenght training. Reading articles like this and ones on not being afraid to fail help me change my mindset going into workouts and hopefully will aid in my strength progress!

    Barbara,
Brian C. did just that–he came down Friday night to workout with the night crew. Unfortunately, some of the night crew was missing!
Thanks for the kind words regarding the re-posted articles. Speaking of strength progress, you should have seen the amount of PRs set during the CrossFit Total!

…..oh, and, Brian C. will be leaving us again, early next week.
