Lisa warming up for the final event for the 2016 CrossFit Master Qualifier (45-49 year old), 1 rep max deadlift.  At a body weight of 120 lbs., Lisa deadlifted 290 lbs..  That’s 50 pounds more than twice her body weight!  Last time Lisa worked for a deadlift 1-rep max was in August 2015…and she only did 260 lbs. that time.  Her “all-time high” 1-rep max was 295 lbs. a few years back.

1X5 @ 40% 1RM
1X5 @ 50% 1RM
1X5 @ 60% 1RM
NOTE: Use 90% of 1 RM to figure percentages.  Perform 5 reps only on the last set.  This is a deload day.

6 rounds for time:
10 box jumps 24/20″
15 kettlebell sumo-deadlift high pull 32/24 kg
20 sit-ups

Optional
3 rounds:
20 meter prowler push
10 slam ball 40/20#
