On Saturday, after a tough workout, while the temperature was well below freezing, Matt M., Mike W. and Georgie joined some other ice hockey enthusiasts for a couple of hours of pond hockey in East Islip.

YOUR COACH IS WRONG; PROGENEX SUCKS  Proud to say that Lisa and I have tried Progenex, never liked it and never recommended it.  So, in our case, if you ever asked about it, then YOUR COACH WAS RIGHT.  As. Usual.  You’re welcome.

WHICH TYPE OF EXERCISE IS BEST FOR THE BRAIN?  Possibly another reason for “30 minute Thursday”!  (Thanks to my friend Ken in Virginia for the article tip!)

Workout of the Day
30 minutes of:
80′ run
5 Russian kettlebell swings 24/16 kg
2 Samson Stretch (one for each leg)
1 Upward facing dog
1 Bridge

    The second one. I didn’t read the first one as I don’t use, have never used and have no interest in using Progenex. Besides, if you and Lisa feel that way about it, well that’s good enough for me 🙂
