BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THE HUMAN BODY IS REMARKABLY RESILIENT

If you know what the HAKA is you’ll appreciate this video of a New Zealand army unit (2/1 RNZIR Battalion) saying farewell to their fallen comrades.  Despite what one may think of war, respect for the warrior should always be given.  All fallen warriors deserve a farewell like the one displayed in this video.  For a better view of what the Haka looks like check out this video of New Zealand’s national rugby team, The All-Blacks performing before a game.

Thank you Leonardo…you have restored my faith in humanity.

Beth–I would love for the men to learn the Haka, but if you dare disrespect it we will have a problem. 🙂

Haka is amazing!! I’ve seen it up close and you can see what it does to the person performing it. Sorry for being a day late, this apparently is my new social media time!!

Thanks for your commentary Jon! Always good to hear from somebody who not only appreciates the Haka, but got to see it live!
