Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: Regular schedule

Thanksgiving Day (Thursday):  2 sessions ONLY- 9-10 am & 10-11 am (Sign-up for session is mandatory)

Friday: 2 sessions only-10-11 am & 11 am-12 pm.

Saturday: Regular schedule

PLEASE READ WHAT IT SAYS AND NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT SAYS! ********************************************************************************************************************************  40 or over and have the desire to compete in a CrossFit competition?  Shoreline CrossFit in Connecticut has hosted the Northeast Masters Throwdown for the last 3 years.  We have competed in it for the last 2 years.  Shoreline does a fantastic job running the event and we have had nothing but a great time.   Our sources tell us the Northeast Masters will be held on Saturday,February 7th 2015, but it has not been officially announced yet.  Interested?       Amie,

      Here’s what I can tell you now:
      The competition usually consists of 3 workouts: 1 strength ladder or complex and 2 metcons.
      They take the fact that 40 year-old (and older) shoulders are cranky into account. That is to say they don’t usually program snatches, handstand push-ups, muscle-ups, handstand walks and movements of that nature.
      The competition is done in one day.
      It’s held in Branford, Connecticut. We take the ferry. We stay at a hotel about a mile from the gym. We usually leave Sunday morning. You, of course, can drive up that morning and leave that night if that works better for you.
