END OF THE CURRENT WHOLE30

According to my calculations the Whole30 Program, for this session,  officially ends tonight at 11:59pm.  This was, by far, the best Whole30 to date!  Nearly everyone who started on September 8th stuck to the plan and the results are evident even to the casual observer.  It was inspiring to not only see the changes but listen to the participants explain how they changed and how disciplined they were about their food choices!  We hope to gather up participant opinions and observations in the next few days.  In the meantime Whole30 participants are encouraged to share their thoughts, results, lessons learned and issues in the comments section.

Our hope is that you’ll continue to make nutrition choices that are optimal for you and you don’t make a habit of eating the foods that take you away from your health and fitness goals.   Please follow the instructions for Step Two: Reintroduction. —George

To be honest there aren’t too many foods I’m really missing this time around. I feel good and am sleeping better. I’m not really feeling the need to reintroduce a lot of these foods and there are some I’m not even going to,such as dairy
. A slice of toast now and then w/some real local honey, piece of dark chocolate and an occasional iced tea that’s about it for me for now.

Thanks Amie! I concur. Adjusting to the Whole30 was easier this time. I didn’t experience the cravings I have in the past. I noticed a big difference in 2 areas specifically: An increase in endurance during workouts and much deeper sleep.

Never going back to putting sugar or Splenda in my coffee again. I can actually drink it black, surprisingly! Thanks George!!! Food was easy and Whole30 actually made me use more of my crockpot that was just sealed in a box, haha. Plus it gave me more energy. 30 days of no alcohol was tough, but I did it, and it stops there, lol. I can never NOT drink alcohol. Happy hour anyone?? 🙂

      Tricia,

I can’t believe you’re admitting that you can drink black coffee. A few short weeks ago you were psychotic because of your coffee. What a difference a month makes!
