    Good morning George
Great articles- I love the walking one. It’s make me think of my kids bc as a kid I walked everywhere! ( or rode my bike ) but mostly I walked to school ALOT. And around the neighborhood and every night after dinner we walked our block which was hills.
My kids look at me crazy when I tell them we are going for a walk but no tv no iPads & no video games mon to thurs forces them.
So force your kids everyone to get moving!

I completely agree Kelly! Walking is one of the best exercises going. It was not a coincidence that I was in the best shape, during my law enforcement career, when I walked a beat on a regular basis. As soon as I stopped walking a beat and got back into a car I gained weight, lost some endurance and I had more lower back and knee pain.

Yes…make your children walk. Somehow the idea of kids walking anywhere became a “dangerous” idea.
