10 MISTAKES WOMEN MAKE WITH DIETS
TNation.com contributer, Dani Shugart, is spot on with her identification of diet mistakes made by women. Not to worry–she offers solutions for each one!–George
RUNNING IS THE KILLER APP OF THE HUMAN BODY
Interesting article on running from an evolutionary perspective. Andrew Read, writing for Breaking Muscle, also describes how running is good for other forms of activity and exercise as well as overall performance. Over the years of coaching CrossFit we have observed that some of the top athletes have a running background. Some of the athletes are recreational runners while others were athletes from soccer teams, lacrosse teams or the track team. If you’re not sure what I mean then do a workout with Angelo, Katy, Jon B. or Tiffany Y. That inability to catch them or keep up with them is what I’m speaking of!—George

12 minute AMRAP:
7 thrusters 75/50#
5 chest to bar pull-ups
7 V-ups
If you’re “beat up” from the week treat this workout as skill work. If you are fresh and good-to-go then feel free to raise the thruster weight and go at competition level!

Meag,
Amie’s on the job already!
Good luck!
I enjoyed the article on dieting. However, I don’t agree that this article pertains solely to women. Many people in general struggle with these general misconceptions. So I guess what I’m trying to say is it’s a good read regardless of gender
Katy–I agree except for #4 and #5. They’re women issues for the most part.
Amie, I signed up for that test last week. 🙂 Are you taking it?
Ill catch em lol
