Congratulations to Tatyana and Bethany! 101 days ago they set out with a dozen more athletes from CrossFit Suffolk to complete the 100 Day Burpee Challenge. Yesterday, the 100th Day of the Challenge, Tatyana and Bethany were the only two “left standing”! In 100 days Tatyana and Bethany performed 5,050 burpees!
During the last 3 months we got to see these ladies do their burpees after the workout of the day. Their determination, perseverance, discipline and mental toughness was something special to see. Besides the obvious enhanced physical conditioning, this challenge builds a stronger “can-do” attitude. This attitude was evident when Tatyana injured her shoulder and continued participate in the challenge anyway. It was evident when Bethany decided to take on the Whole 30 Challenge when she was more than 2 months into the 100 Day Burpee Challenge.
