“Cuomo also said he would issue protocols for the reopening of gyms Monday. The move was heralded as a victory by a coalition of gym owners that have protested the extended closures, and who have sued the governor, state and attorney general for the financial losses incurred after they were not allowed to reopen with the start of Phase 4.“–Craig Schneider and Newsday Staff, Newsday, August 14, 2020
Today’s the big announcement day. We’ll refrain from commenting too much until we hear what is actually said, by the governor, and what the guidelines are. Suffice it to say that this is good news.
We will keep you posted on the announcement and what it means for you. In the meantime, if you have borrowed equipment from us, please be prepared to return all equipment soon. We will base the return time-periods on when we can reopen. Stay tuned!

Giangiulio: “Just keep going. Keep trying. Just don’t sit on the couch all day and watch TV. It’s a good feeling to be fit. You don’t have to lift 300 lb. Just move. Just get up and do something for yourself.“—Jarka Giangiulio
