GETTING CONTROL OF OVERHEAD MOVEMENT: 5 BASIC DRILLS TO PREPARE THE BODY

If you were fortunate enough to attend the 3 seminars presented by Jon Belmonte of Max Effort Physical Therapy and member of CrossFit Suffolk then you heard and saw very similar information provided in this excellent article by Lauren Beasley for Breaking Muscle.  The article contains video demonstration of exercises that are similar or exactly the same as what Jon presents in his seminars!  Learn and move better.

 

 

Workout of the Day
5X1 Hang Clean (just above knee) & Jerk – work to a max for the day

15 minute AMRAP of:
30 kettlebell swings 24/16kg
15 hand release push-ups
5 ring dips

    I was going to make a joke that Lauren is my pen name haha. Or that she secretly tapes my seminars then writes about them on breaking muscle. Hennessey please speak to me daily in that manner so that I may pee my pants regularly, thank you in advance
