Use the same weight for each set. Load the bar for your 10-rep max weight. Rest as needed between sets.


3 rounds for time of:

12 Hang Power Snatches, 115/75 lbs

15 Pull-ups

Run, 400 m

    On the Charles Staley article: I get a chuckle from women who worry that weight training will cause them to “bulk up.” My desired response is, “don’t worry, if that ever happens, there will be a long line of men outside your door. They will be body builders, begging you to teach them how to do it.” When a man weight trains his serum testosterone increases. A woman’s doesn’t. Even with that advantage building bigger muscles happens slowly with a lot of hard work. There are women who have been able to build large muscles, but as Mr. Staley points out they have done so using drugs. I have regularly trained in gyms since the mid-1990s. I have never seen such a woman at any of them. BTW: while you are in the T-Nation website look for Dani Shugart’s ‘The Best Memes for Girls Who Lift.’
