Lisa often refers to the gym as the “adult playground”.  Much of the equipment does resemble the things you’d find on the best jungle gyms out there and our community is made, quite often, of people who never “out grew” the playground.IMG_8023

So when Corryn finished her workout yesterday I asked her how she was feeling.  She had one of the best replies we’ve ever heard from someone who’s a few birthdays past her 21st: “Great“, she said, “I’m on the playground.”

    John–Sounds good!

    Kelly–You figured it out! Corryn has mastered the Jedi power of Telekinises! She is actually “willing” the tire up, not pushing it over!

    Flipping me the bird while raising the tire–an advanced Jedi trick. Obviously The Force is strong in this one.

    By the way, I’m pretty sure it’s “telekenises”….yup–my spell check just confirmed it.

    Yes! No matter how hard the WOD may be, it’s just like recess, going out onto the playground after stress-filled days at work and dealing with my girls! I mean, restraining dust-heads and psychos is fun (who Wouldn’t enjoy that lol) but throwing big balls at the wall and pushing my physical limits makes me feel like I’m 10 again, and that’s way more fun 🙂
    Btw, some old guy once told me my midichlorians were off the scale, whatever That means…

    John i hate running but the sprint workout makes sense and im.pretty sure i need to participate…ive got fat stores i would like to get rid of and kelly you are not the only one using the abmat wrong
