4 TESTS EVERY FIT GUY SHOULD BE ABLE TO PASS

THE SINGLE LEG KETTLEBELL SWAP IS THE MOST IMPORTANT EXERCISE YOU’RE NOT DOING  We actually learned this one from Dr. Jon Belmonte of Max Effort Physical Therapy.  If you scroll down to the fifth video in this article you’ll see the Single Leg Romanian Deadlift variation.  Jon does this, but his version is even better because you extend the hip on every rep causing you to have to reset every time.  The act of hinging your hip and then extending it every time makes it harder to balance and forces you to engage your core more than just swapping the kettlebell while remaining in the hip-hinge position.  Good on you Jon Belmonte!  We are on a mission to get all of our athletes to do this exercise because it’s effective.  Jon does it with a 70 lb. kettlebell.  Keep that in mind when you try it, but start with a light kettlebell.

That article explains its benefits a lot better than I do. We use it for strength and endurance, either going heavy 3×5 or light for a minute straight. Thanks for sharing!!
