WHY?

We don’t use the methodology known as CrossFit because it’s popular or because we believe it’s trendy or the current fad.  We don’t CrossFit to say we belong to the CrossFit community.  We don’t CrossFit because we like being different.

We CrossFit because, in the words of Coach Glassman, “IT PAYS OFF.”  There is no other reason.  CrossFit means results.  Pure and Simple.  We will continue to CrossFit until it does not pay off any longer or some other proven methodology that is better comes along.  We don’t see that happening in the near future.  Quite frankly, we don’t see that happening in the “far” future either.

CrossFit is the best of two worlds: Physical Preparedness and Mental Toughness.  Show us a better formula or program and we’ll switch over.  We’re not holding our breath.

In the coming years as CrossFit becomes more popular we’ll hear more criticism like some of the criticism being bandied about now: “It’s dangerous”, it’s this…it’s that.  The critics have not, nor will they, come up with a better program that PAYS OFF more than CrossFit.  It’s hard to take the critics seriously so we’ll just have to settle with being amused.
