Do Marathons Hurt Your Knees?   No.  Not if your knees are healthy.  Squats don't hurt your knees either.  You know what is "bad" for your knees????  Not staying active as you age.  How many people do you know with "bad knees"?  Of those people with bad knees how many of them exercise on a regular basis or are regularly engaged in physical activity? 

 Oh…don't assume we're advocating marathons–we're not.  There are other reasons NOT to do marathons.  Knee issues don't even make the Top 10!
