How "Thick Bar" Training Will Greatly Improve Upper Body Strength

Adventures In Very Recent Evolution

Thanks to Kevin for the tip on the above video!

Some Observations:

Action is always faster than reaction.

Behavior that leads to making police officers nervous is a bad idea.

Explosiveness is a fine attribute to possess and develop.

Nothing beats a calm, well set-up stunning strike/takedown to begin and end a confrontation.

A strong grip a good thing to develop.  Especially for law enforcers.  When a person in need of arresting is grabbed there's nothing like a strong grip to convey the message that full compliance with the officer is probably the best choice!

  1. Hey George,
That video is fan-frakin-tasic! Me and the guys at work were in tears. Talk about making a point with undeniable authority. I love how they captured on video how he asked him twice, nicely I might add, to take his hands out of his pockets. Sadly , IAB will still entertain the complaint. Price of Fat Gripz : $40. Being able to throw a drunken idiot to the ground one handed while crushing the life out of him: PRICELESS.

That’s the way it should always be done. The sergeant was professional and didn’t waste any time or energy. The soundtrack and instant replay slow motion added quite nicely!
