Thank you to all who participated in “Murph” yesterday and over the weekend.  You all did outstanding work!  Congratulations to the first-timers, the first time at RX and all who set out to do the entire workout and accomplished the mission successfully even though you weren’t sure you could.  Thank you to all who contributed to the barbecue.  The barbecue went better than expected and had more people than we thought we would.  Special thanks to Cindy and Russell who provided the grill.  Special thanks to Cathy for making the 50/50 Board and providing guidance on how to run it.  Speaking of 50/50…congratulations to Janie and Ben on winning!  We’ll be sending a $500.00 check to the Michael P. Murphy Scholarship Foundation thanks to your participation.

100 singles
15 sit-ups
6 deadlifts 115/75#

NOTES: This workout is light and easy for “MURPH” recovery.  This si to be done at an easy pace.  The workout will be follow with mobility work.

    What a great day it was indeed! Thank you once again to George and Lisa for all their kindness and hardwork that comes with owning a gym! Thank you to all the gym members who are selfless and kind enough to bring something to the table (not just all that delicious food you guys brought!!). And most of all giant thanks to all the service people who gave their lives to create and keep this country as great as it is!

    It was a great weekend!! I believe we did Michael Murphy proud. There were so many people doing the Murph in one way or another to the best of their ability and more. Saturday was amazing – between Jon ripping his shorts off to reveal his tiny bikini and shouting Merica to Angelo in an extremely rare moment ripping his shirt off. Every female was muttering – it’s a good day – and it was. Sunday was great – the BBQ a success, the food was amazing, the Bacon Macaroni & Cheese, Tara’s Truffles and Luis’s moms Rice pudding and all of the food at the table was fantastic. Crossfit Suffolk has two special people George and Lise who make it all work. Thanks so much!! Can’t wait for next year

    Beth I agree it was a memorable MUPRH! It was a fun day with excellent food brought in by most and the Matz’s family brought in their giant coolers, chairs and yes Tara’s truffles!! YUM. We really appreciate everyone who took time to help out and bring in something..the food was all great! We have some people that made it very interesting indeed, like JON! All the athletes put their best effort forward and truly that is all that is expected despite the terrible weather everything worked out in the end. We do have a wonderful group of people! Thank you all for particiapting in the fund raiser and for making this year a very memorable one! We love you guys! Stay strong!! XO
